Apart from the usual annual increase nothing's changed, there has long been the "* This includes cars emitting over 225g/km registered before 23 March 2006" cutoff.

No plans to change cars unless we're forced to do so. Until at least two of the the children are out of car seats I think we'll need something Galaxy sized. After that a big estate as family transport.

Somewhat reluctantly, the 650i is currently for sale on Car and Classic. Can't say I'm terribly optimistic about shifting it, but we'll see how it goes. It's been a bloody brilliant car.

It doesn't look as silly as the current one, and it's likely going to be one of the last, truly good, manual, non-hybrid hot hatches

I'm also looking (casually) at Porsches (again) - maybe an older 993/996 Carrera, or a newer Boxster

I’m currently on the hunt for subframe bushes on the ML which are NLA from Mercedes. It’s getting harder and harder getting parts so I’m getting frustrated with it all.

I’d love to respray the 500e, do my trips with the family in it and then sell it and the ML and get a C7 Audi RS6. Really really love this car but I know it’s not quite big enough for the dogs.

I only bought the mx5 in May so that won't be going anywhere.

The Panda 4x4 has barely turned a wheel since I've had the mx5 but winter is on the way!

We are thinking of changing my wife's Focus but she only works in the office one day a week so it rarely gets used, 6 years old and 18000 miles on the clock.

Still half heartedly looking for a replacement motorhome but no rush there.

Not sure specifically what to look for next, but it'll involve cleaning the E46 up for next summer and hopefully selling it for a decent price, then spunking that one...something different. £3-4k, nippy and perhaps less over-tyred than the E46.

It won’t look as good, but you should try your E46 on 16” alloys with the same width all round. I’ve found it makes them so much more enjoyable on the road than the Sport models with wider rears.

No way 16s will fit the 330 brakes. He might squeeze a 17 on. Our e46 drive miles better on a set of 17s borrowed from one of my e36s than the 18 it came on.

I’ve run my e36 on 225s all round for years and much prefer how it drives on them compared to the standard 225 / 245 setup even if outright grip is lower.

What Harry said re fitment - the sport brakes are fucking massive.

It's something I might look at but I've ha dthe E46 for a few years now and I'm not a enamoured by having a folding roof any more, so I guess we'll see.

No plans for changing the TVR or L200, both do what they need to do and have been dependable so no need to make any changes.

My younger son turns 17 next year and has been visiting the classic shows with me and I think we've decided to get a modern classic, he ideally wants an LS400 (green over silver he loves), but realistically for not just insurance, for fuel costs a Phase 1 ZR105 3 door in BRG is most likely. Once my elder has finally passed his test and the Corsa is off the driveway and our books we'll look for a ZR.

You’re right - I’d forgotten that it was my E46 328 that I put 16” on, and for the 330 I got a square setup using the standard fit 17” from a z4 3.0i, which looked really good on the car.

What with the way the world is, no plans to change either at the mo and I'm hoping the Yeti will still be big enough for family trips going forward as it suits the wife well (small footprint) but still big on the inside.

My brother's brother-in-law has chopped in his RRS SVR for a Lamborghini Urus, to sit alongside his Taycan Turbo S. Why? I have no idea. It looks... expensive; but weird to go all elec in one step and the most silly petrol vehicle in another. I'd have thought a P400e or something more likely. Think it books at around £200k but no doubt on finance as no-one sinks that amount of money into a car.

I was out with my wife last night and we were parked up next to a thunder night purple 2 series coupe, I joked that if BMW offer a Z4 in that colour, I would have a decision to make. Spookily overnight, exactly that has leaked on instagram with a hint of more power. Its probably a bit boring to buy the same car again but I could be tempted.

Good question, my classic insurance is limited mileage with a drive to work addition. I'm sure as I did he will blow any limited mileage out of the water and then you are into regular money on a regular policy, the only benefit I could possibly see is agreed value on the classic policy (another add on that I have).
I will look at both when the time comes.

I guess that's why they are relatively rare considering their age. Values are still low at least.
