We let you keep posting here don't we?
While funny it doesnt address the question.
I would suggest you do your own research as to the correct solution. We can't do your thinking for you... ;) :D

And moving them on if it's getting heated is fine, it's the arresting and charging of the protestors that's the issue. It's not a huge issue I guess, after tuesday everyone will forget all about it and move on to whatever awful policy the government has pushed through while we're all distracted.

Exactly that. There's plenty of real world stuff to be concerned about for many businesses from next month. Inflation they say has gone down.... I beg to differ.

This whole thing is dragging on a bit to be honest.

They won’t just move on though. They’ll wander down the road a bit and start protesting again

That's today's generation brought up on social media though where they think nothing of heckling someone's son at the funeral of their 96 year old mother.

The response on social media has been what you'd expect. I honestly wonder where the country will be in 10-15 years time where nobody understands the importance of context in any discussion, or even the difference between subjective & objective.
Cheers,

Mike.

We can only ensure that we bring our children up well enough to understand that this is not how you do things and not into another generation of self entitled me, me, me idiots. Hopefully in 10-15 years these people will be still a minority sandwiched between us old gits and the younger generation both pouring scorn on them.

I must admit, given his eco-stance on things, I'm quite surprised Charles didn't state: no flowers please

Seeing the enormous piles of flowers, mostly wrapped in plastic, it just seems like such an incredible waste

And such a massive wasted opportunity

Think of the money spent on all those flowers that could have been donated to charity, and could have done some good

That could have been a great legacy for the Queen - a huge fundraising effort as a "thank you" for her service that would do people some good for people in need

People will still do flowers - it's the social norm. They asked for the flowers to not have plastic on them so they could clear them easier afterwards.

The flowers will be collected, composted and use by the Parks Association

I’m not sure that any extra flowers were grown and specifically distributed for this event 🤔

I'm sure they don't want to see traffic lights on telly for the procession.

Because that really matters more than having, you know, safe traffic flow.

What are they doing, replacing them with temp ones or just closing the roads around the area for the whole weekend?

Christ knows what measures will need to be in place for the event - the signals might just be in the way of other stuff they need to put in. The mind boggles as to the planning required given the number of dignitaries that will be present, and having to deal with all the associated security agencies.
