Broccers is not wrong. As you say Mito, most ppl could pedal a car quite quickly with relatively little effort, but making a motorcycle go quickly is a whole 'nother level of fun/effort. The effort is worth it for the reward.
Also worth noting, bikes aren't just about going quickly, Marv and I had a blast last weekend just pottering around N.Wales. They're great for adventures too, so liberating knowing you can go virtually anywhere.
