I watched this Aiden Milward youtube on the superprix yesterday.
and Youtube very kindly spat this out today.
Where would you want to put a street race in the UK?

Milton Keynes - so I could walk and not have to pay parking...
Re: Birmingham superprix
I’m not sure if there’s any visible evidence left of the Superprix now but there was until quite recently - bits of striped kerb at the Ladywood Middleway/Bristol Street junction were there for decades afterwards.
I watched it on telly at the time. But was disappointed that it wasn’t F1 even then.

I came across a street race which was so shit I forgot to even mention it. A few weeks ago at the DLR at Excel I thought I could hear some people vigorously pleasuring themselves with dildos however a short walk later and I came across the least advertised race in London

Best seats in the house for free and everyone just walking past.
I watched for a few minutes then I realised that electric racing is so awful that you couldn’t pay me to watch it.

How about not having a sig at all?

Formula E is a bizarre mix of formula car looks and elbows out BTCC style racing. I quite enjoyed watching the highlights this year.

Looking for when the last evidence of the Superprix disappeared, I'm not sure it has completely. The holes for the Armco supports along Belgrave Middleway (not Ladywood Middleway as I said above - I meant Belgrave) are still visible in the pavement: https://goo.gl/maps/NvL6YMRanCxqHuKRA

You can still see how the roundabout was reshaped to be a hairpin too. At least on Google maps, don’t know if it’s been altered in real life.
Cheers, Harry

Getting so many 6R4’s together with such talented pilots should have been an awesome spectacle….. but just wasn’t.

That roundabout is on quite an angle; as a hairpin it would have been almost banked. I imagine that was intentional.integrale_evo wrote: Thu Sep 01, 2022 12:53 pm You can still see how the roundabout was reshaped to be a hairpin too.
