An ex-colleague (who I get on well with) met him in a bar - not so long after the pop idol crap, and ended up sitting/chatting with him for a couple of hours. Reckoned he was “totally sound” and very different from the persona painted via that show.

Had no idea he was rolling in the circles he was - married to Natasha Henstridge, friends with Rebel Wilson and Gerard Bulter? I assumed after his brief success he wasa back to working a regular 9-5 like the rest of us chumps.

Istr seeing him on a couple of (chat?) shows and thought the same. The persona got him noticed and to the West End etc. though, it did its job.

Sounds like accidental overdose whilst doing something alone….. that must be feckin awful for his family.
