What happened to the “I prefer an argument” option?

I prefer metric hours, with 100 in each day.

Time is an illusion; lunchtime, doubly so.

Applying Parkinson's law to this conundrum suggests that adding marginally more time to the day would deliver very little benefit over a longer time frame. Besides, moaning about not having enough time is a perpetual human trait, so it's your perspective that's wrong, not the clock.

Time is a theoretical construct, if you don't like how it works just make your own up.

What are we trying to achieve by adding or removing hours?

Abating the existential angst caused by the inevitability of death at the end of a constantly diminishing lifespan that unrelentingly slides away with every second that you look at this forum.

Thank you for the clarification. On that basis can we please remove hours from the day? If we agree that the number of hours in a year remains unchanged, that means more days to live until the eventual end. Thus alleviating the angst. Job jobbed.
