That’s the thing- we had Dunblane, the Australians had Port Arthur, New Zealand had Christchurch and the Canadians had Montreal in the 80s and Portapique recently in 2020

All these events led to some sort of change in gun control

America has over 250 in less than 5 months and does nothing

I think the problem now is that a lot of other countries had “some” gun ownership so the impact was small.

In America the ownership is huge so the impact is bigger. That’s what will stop the change. The logical argument in itself won’t do it which is ridiculous, too much vested interest.

Imagine the pile that would make if even half the guns were sent to be destroyed.

Dave!

It's pictures like these that really 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 drive home the fact that, if you were able to confiscate 1 gun a minute every minute of every day of every week of every month of every year

It would still take 600 years to confiscate all the guns. "

its comments like that that really drive home how stupid comments like that are. Why would you ever only be confiscating 1 gun a minute...

Get this - if you confiscated 3 guns a day it would take a million years to confiscate them all... :o :o :o :o

The really scary thing is that he's 44 but looks 60 because of TEH FEARS that have stressed him out.

Also, why isn't his daughter wearing a bike helmet? Or at least have a gun strapped to her head?

The boy in the red shirt is exactly the type of person you can imagine having a bad day at school and then going in the next day seeking revenge.

Well when mom and dad provide access to their huge collection of guns, buy you your very own guns as a gift, teach you how to do guns, praise you for how good you have got at guns, and your daily prayers for a zombie apocalypse go unheard by the lord almighty….

I’m reminded of a Bill Hicks quote…

“I’d like to introduce you to my wife and sister… and there was one woman standing there”

That picture is in a daily mail link someone put in the replies from 2021. There’s this woman in the article who moved from California to Texas just because California introduced firearm control laws

Big reforms put forward in Canada

Tl/dr

The bill, which was presented to Canada's parliament on Monday, makes it impossible to buy, sell, transfer or import handguns anywhere in the country.
"Other than using firearms for sport shooting and hunting, there is no reason anyone in Canada should need guns in their everyday lives," Mr Trudeau told reporters.
The bill would also require rifle magazines to be reconfigured so they can hold no more than five rounds at a time.
And it would take away firearms licences from gun owners involved in domestic violence or criminal harassment.

Literally just saw this on Twitter and came to post it here. He absolutely nails it (apart from the USMC being the finest fighting force on the planet, obvs).
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Another one yesterday, random shots off a rooftop.

Quote from the article- Illinois Governor Jay Robert Pritzker warned that mass shootings were becoming an "American tradition"

Sorry mate, they already are………
