Saw a burgundy Pantera in Tewkesbury today actually, looked fantastic, was a later one with a wingJobbo wrote: Sun May 15, 2022 7:34 am Spotted yesterday on the A46, in a lay-by heading away from Stratford on Avon: a good number of De Tomaso Panteras. A few 911s too, and a Bentley Brooklands (the coupe from ~10 years ago) at the rear. Not sure if they were lost en route to Caffeine & Machine but they were heading the wrong way.

Seen today at Morrisons in Totnes.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Wonder if that was one of the cars I saw? It was facing the direction of Tewkesbury if it had carried on down the A46, though I think the road is still closed at Beckford.speedingfine wrote: Sun May 15, 2022 2:28 pmSaw a burgundy Pantera in Tewkesbury today actually, looked fantastic, was a later one with a wingJobbo wrote: Sun May 15, 2022 7:34 am Spotted yesterday on the A46, in a lay-by heading away from Stratford on Avon: a good number of De Tomaso Panteras. Ginetta G33 in white. Came up behind us (in the ETron with a dug in the boot) on a country road, and was past at the first opportunity, Rover V8 howling
Had spotted this car once previously - was great to see it moving.

I'm still not sure if that's a Bently or a Hyundai Coupe that's had a lot of filler added.PaulJ wrote: Sun May 15, 2022 2:37 pm Seen today at Morrisons in Totnes.![]()

918 Spyder on the M25. No picture, but first I've seen in the metal/rubber/plastic/etc. Lower and wider than I thought it would be. In silver or is nothing like as visually dramatic as the competition, I guess that's part of the charm.

Westbound on the M3 today, a pair of Dinos.
Car spotting anoraks - can any of you tell me whether they're genuine or not ? I've blanked the numberplates to stop you cheating

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
They both look legit to me. Hard to tell with the Fiat though.
An absolute unit
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
An FD RX7, just in town today. Just bimbling about like it was no big thing, making braapbraap noises in a happy little offbeat cycle.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
The fact that it has 2 Ferrari badges on the back and it wouldn't have had any from the factory screams kit car ?ZedLeg wrote: Mon May 23, 2022 2:17 pm They both look legit to me. Hard to tell with the Fiat though.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Zed is correct. Both real.
That's about £300k for the Ferrari.
The Fiat has been off the road for so long it doesn't show up on the DVLA etc. sites but it was sold at auction last weekend:

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
When I was dealing in classic cars as a day job, almost every Dino we bought in needed a Ferrari badge pulling off the back!
I'd like to own a Fiat Dino Spider. A well sorted one is a great weekend classic, and drives well Shame you need £100k to get a good one now.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yeah that was a heck of a spot! Two of them were there when I arrived, and the silver one turned up avec grande noise shortly after. So much epic.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.
