29th April:
For five months now, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has been trying to hawk a Bitcoin-backed bond to international investors. This, he’s insisted, is a better option than turning to multilateral lenders in Washington for more conventional financing.

It’s not working. Bukele, a devout believer in crypto currencies, has yet to receive a single penny of the $1 billion he’s seeking,

9th May:
El Salvador’s government bought 500 Bitcoins on Monday, in its largest purchase to date of the cryptocurrency.

Fair play for sticking to the plan and doubling down right in the face of all those stupid naysayers 8-)

No mention of buying some NFT's though, so it looks like his heart's not in it.

You'd think so - although I've not done any research into how bearish this bear market could be, i.e. will it go lower

Simple thought process but seeing as Bitcoin is now so deeply correlated with the US economy do you they’re past the worst of the inflationary economic doom and gloom or is this just the first painful year of many more to come?

That really is how crypto works ! Those naysayers are idiots. LUNA is down 98% in the last 24 hours. You need to get into that. There’s an easy 5000% gain when they bounce back 8-)

It's definitely a buy zone  however because BTC broke below $30k I reckon we could be here for a while. Coinbase made big losses and are looking shaky.

re Coinbase they made losses as noone is trading - after the last 48 hours I reckon their takings will be on the up. Great for them if you think about it :D

LUNA crashed because it turned out there was absolutely nothing underpinning it. Bitcoin will keep rising though. Get in.

I reckon it's more likely that a ton of positions have been wiped out and left a lot of people scared to reinvest. If it's a crypto winter then we're not going to see any more big moves to the upside this year. It's a good reminder to DCA over a longer period AND take profits. It's only this year that I conceded and started setting sell positions based on taking 20% every time a coin goes up 50%. That creates the cash to buy when this kind of shit happens

Good plan!

Your 13800 would be 15800 if youd bought 10 ETH this morning to now - not so good if you had bought 10 at 3700 each tho lol

I'm agreeing with you ?

I'm thinking about putting £50k each on Eth & Bitcoin, see what happens. This crash is a perfect time to buy.
