I feel I should mention Muki driving Andy Bond's Renault 5 at this point. I think that would probably stand a good chance of a top 3 place.

People don't really talk about it as I think we're all a bit blase about supercars but Ferrari putting a 6.5l V12 that revs to 9k in a front engined GT is wonderfully bonkers.

Some conjecture over the figures but the B16B engine in the EK9 Civic-R revs to either 8600 or 8800 rpm and I believe the B18 in the Integra-R is 8600rpm so both should make the list and bump out a couple of supercars.
