Randomness
Re: Randomness
Stopped reading HJ years ago when he insisted a DMF in a diesel was to reduce torque, when in fact it's to reduce torsional vibration.

Re: Randomness
Yep, very strange, especially as it’s one of the main reasons why people specifically choose an e36 compact over a full size version or an e46.
Z1 got the z axel, followed by the e36, then the compact kept the e30 rear end to save space and money which then passed on to the z3.
I don’t think rear leg room is much if any different to the normal e36 ( which itself is hardly spacious) I measured the floor pan of mine for someone who wanted to put a compact carpet into their coupe and the hard points for the front seats and the back of the carpet where it goes vertical for the rear seat base were the same.

Did they ever sell the 323i compact over here?

Aye, it does say in the article they share wheelbase, I think it was just the usual "fwd has more space" comment.integrale_evo wrote: Tue Apr 19, 2022 10:41 am

I had posted it as a positive thing though, it is under the heading Hidden Heroes

I'm never sure if it's good or bad when you recognize somewhere on one of these vids. Well, as long as you're not on it it can't be bad bad I guess.

in one day, I posted the vid for the audio; it pretty much sums up the narration of a journey but the different accents and phrases always bring some
back to proceedings.

I wasn't featured (well, I don't think I cycle that fast) - it's just on my back route to Asda hence recognising it.

There's a common theme though...nuttinnew wrote: Wed Apr 20, 2022 10:20 am but the different accents and phrases always bring someback to proceedings.
