They changed the pollen filter!

They also check the brakes, even though they don’t wear out due to regen doing a lot of the work.

With energy prices rising, there will be a point when regen is cheaper than ceramics :D

Mounting the sub in the middle meant I had to remove the split charge relay & inverter that I’d hastily wired up straight after buying the van. The relay is now relocated to under the drivers seat and a proper battery tray added. The battery was just kinda wedged in place before :?

There’s enough space there for the inverter too but then you can’t get to it ! Some kind of extension lead required.

I’ve also added some led down lights in the boot. The factory courtesy light is lame and even with an led fitted it’s only slightly less lame. Normal:

With down lights:

This will make life easier when stopping to make a late night coffee in a German / Polish truck park.

I'm assuming that they checked the dipstick when he walked in the showroom 😁😉

:!: How'd you manage that? That's good going for an unladen Ibiza or Leon.
It has always been weirdly good on a run. I set the cruise to 110 (65mph) most of the way and let it do its thing. On the way home, we were running a bit late for the ferry (which was naturally delayed by an hour) so I stuck to the speed limits (100k Holland, 120 Belgium, 130 France) and even when I got home it was still registering 54.9. Must be down to its streamlined shape and winter tyres
Cheers.

The van continues to keep me busy. Another new problem today. I think it’s a warning that I’m wearing flamboyant spectacles ?

You need to replace your coil.

Your contraceptive coil.

Are Vito's known for having shoddy glow plugs, bad wiring, or you think it's just bad luck following it's recent epic trip?
