Re: Coronavirus
Yep, we’re still testing for work, but you’re back after 10 days regardless of what the tests say.
Cheers, Harry
Re: Coronavirus
Theyve a bit of an issue with loads of people off so don't want anyone back until 2 negative tests. Dont shoot the messenger

I hope you’ve explained to them why they’re wrong.Broccers wrote: Wed Apr 06, 2022 5:53 pm Theyve a bit of an issue with loads of people off so don't want anyone back until 2 negative tests. Dont shoot the messenger![]()

You’re very keen to share on here. All mouth, no trousers
Re: Coronavirus
Finally got Covid in the household, my partner tested positive yesterday.
I'm still negative luckily so I can still go out and do stuff, went for a big shop this morning in case that changes.
My own fault really, got bad karma from winding up my mate who's had it twice about never having it

Re: Coronavirus
I've noticed something recently - I still don't think my sense of smell is back to 100% despite having had covid mid-December. Certain soaps - mainly liquid ones, so hand soap or shampoo - smell really bad to me. So bad in fact that it knocks me a little sick. I've switched this morning to T-Gel because that still smells the same at least!
It seems to be anything that's supposed to smell a bit fruity. So the boy has a cherry hand wash, a strawberry shampoo, and I had some Aussie stuff plus the wife's various concoctions - all smell the same. Hard to describe but the nearest I can imagine is maybe as though it's gone mouldy in the bottle - so a sort of mouldy fruit smell.
Haven't noticed anything else smelling off - literally just liquid soaps.

Re: Coronavirus
It can take a while. It was over six months before my sense of smell came back. I know of others that went even longer.
Re: Coronavirus
Tested positive this morning. Boo.

Re: Coronavirus
I felt really rough yesterday. Fatigue and joint ache so bad that I ended up spending most of the day in bed as it was the only place I could get comfortable.
Feel better today, just feels like a flu.

Nipper has been most poorly he's ever been over the last few days. Couldn't test him though as he won't tolerate it. Wife and I caught whatever he has so I was able to test us and it's not the 'rona. I'm kinda staggered that we've never had it TBH.

+1
Mrs has been back to office based since the beginning of last year and is the only one of the 8 that share the space who hasn't caught it. She's pretty careful with sanitiser and when they were required, masks etc but even so. There's only so much you can do.

We've also been spared so far. We test regularly (have a small stockpile), so feel confident that we've not just missed it (test accuracy aside). Given that we've got two children in primary and my wife works in a hospital, that's quite good going.

Is anyone falling for this now? https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/ano ... down-stops
Can't blame Brexit on the shortages about to happen!
As for domestic illness - still got a tickly cough. Annoying but not so is hayfever at this time of year.

Re: Coronavirus
It amazes me the confusion caused with c19 and the economy being fcked by that and mainly that in the last 2 years. To say its Brexit is utter shite.
As for c19 its still on going, they haven't let it go just yet.
Worldwide inflation causes all sorts of bother - including export costs
