Bangers and Cash

My wife's Dad introduced me to the best kind of TV crack at the weekend, and I think it'll be right up your street

It's a program called "Bangers and Cash" and it's on the Yesterday channel (whatever the fvck that is)

Anyway, it's about a family run car auction place in North Yorks called Mathewsons Classic Cars

They have tons of really interesting, generally older cars, vans, trucks, tractors, everything - usually vintage through to 80s

It's chaotic, and mental, but they have some amazing things featured

That's quite an eclectic mix. Lot 108 is the weirdest Volvo I've ever seen!

Father in law mentioned this last year and now I've seen pretty much all of them.

Have a hankering for a Brooklands Capri again after watching it.

We're staying a few miles away from Thornton-le-dale over Easter and will be visiting Mathewsons as part of our break.

Maybe a bit sad but I don't care, I'm more into the classics now than modern stuff with pops and bangs.

There wasn't a VW version of the Fun though, just the normal pickup with fixed cab etc.

It's a great show, Thornton le Dale is not far from me and I regularly see people I know on it. They really know their stuff and are not afraid to tell people.
