The whole thing was pretty silly though, it was a shitty joke but Smith's reaction seemed a bit performative.

He seems to laugh at the initial joke but his wife is looking less than impressed and then it cuts back to the stage, so I'm guessing he turned to her, laughing it up, she gave him one of those looks we all know and the rest is history.

Definitely one of the most entertaining things that happened although I'm wondering why a slap rather than a punch? I guess its making a point without the risk of real damage to either of you.

I only called him that because it's his surname, and typing on my phone I didn't want to put his full name each time

It’s odd, when the camera cuts to Smith he seems like he’s going to try and laugh it off then realises he’s gone too far and starts shouting abuse.
