Cats giving birth usually eat the placenta. She didn’t with any of the first three last June, nor the first this morning. She did with the second today and frankly it made a right bloody mess, so I’m quite happy if she decides not to do so with any more and I’ll just cut the cord and dispose of them 😄

Pleased to find little Jimbo has a racing stripe. On his (or her) underside, so might be prone to rolling over.

Probably not a figure I should admit to in public, but 13.

Oh yes, we aren't professional breeders. We just had another litter from our munchkin because if we'd wanted to buy these three new borns, it would have cost about £7,500  Couldn't guarantee they'd all come out short-legged but they did this time.

Munchkin kittens are really rare in the U.K. Having said that, there seem to be a few advertised for under £1000 but I’d be suspicious that they are scams.

Missed your response, apologies.

Pet costs is something I've yet to grasp, but sounds costly!

Been kitten sitting this weekend and it’s been great fun with this little girl who is very sweet and gentle, and has only increased my desire to get some pussy myself.

I hope anyone considering getting a cat will look at getting a rescue. Always loads of wee guys waiting to find a home.

Old Ginger George had a stroke a couple of months ago, he has had a few accidents getting into the litter tray so we made a low one, plus he can’t do stairs so just stays in Treina’s office.

He still eats and drinks, will take fuss and meows for food but he hasn’t many months/weeks left.

Giant Ginger George, awesome cat, 8.5kg Rottweiler assassin.
