Bumps and breaks
Re: Bumps and breaks
Hope it heals quickly and he doesn’t keep injuring it whilst it knits back together. I always think a break is better than a bad sprain, both my ankles are screwed up from serious sprains in my youth

Yeah, I had more than my fair share of trips to A&E as a kid - usually getting stitched/bandaged back together. I’ve not broken any bones yet though somehow.

Poor wee guy, hopefully its all mended soon and he's not in too much discomfort in the meantime. Its amazing what they just take in their stride at that age!
When I saw the thread title I thought it was another one of those about how us of a certain age had maybe pulled a back muscle while tying our shoes again.

Re: Bumps and breaks
I was forever falling out of trees, off bikes, or generally hurting myself as a kid
Many trips to A&E
Many broken bones and stitches
My Mum genuinely believes that in today's world, Social Services would have intervened
Hope the little one gets well soon xx

I didn’t break a huge number of bones, but stitches were a regular event.DaveE wrote: Wed Mar 16, 2022 11:21 am I was forever falling out of trees, off bikes, or generally hurting myself as a kid
I remember being genuinely surprised - age 7 - when a friendly gave of “let’s see if we can throw (small) stones at each other’s faces from approx 15m away” with a mate - not an enemy - resulted in 3 stitches in my lip. Who could have anticipated that?
