Do I like these? (Now with poll)

Wheels / alloys / rims.

When I first saw them I was like “wow”

Then I thought they looked too fussy (relative to the classically gorgeous originals) where the spokes meet the rim.

Then I thought “but look at the offset at the front - that looks wikkid (innit)

But now it’s occured to me that the rears look too heavily offset. Verging on Carlos Fandango….

So should I like these fucking wheels or not?

My old one used to get close on standard track width and standard wheels n tyres (note rear looks more tucked than stock due to negative camber hubs):

Definitely sticking out a bit too far.

1.9 GTI, MI16, Alfa Teledials all look fantastic on their respective cars.

That’s a gorgeous 205 though, such great cars.

Reading the original link;

"they are 15" Speedline SL434 with 195/50/15 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres on. It has 309 GTi wishbones and driveshafts. Also has a 309 GTi rear axle and as such wider than a std 1.9 GTi at the rear and is exaggerated by the offset of the wheels.".
