Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes
It seems like there’s no more BMWs crossing it these days. I assume they’ve all been written off and learned their lesson.
How about not having a sig at all?

I saw another clip somewhere recently with an e90 going through a flood with the headlights completely submerged, and water so deep the rear wheels were lifting and spinning like a paddle steamer.
God knows how it made it, I thought they were notorious for hydrolocking, but it was seriously impressive!

Not the most exciting vid I have ever watched, but hey.
Obviously slippier than it first appears.

In the comments it says Carlos Tavares was the co driver of that Stratos.
It doesn't matter the speed, if you're not stopping and heading toward a stone wall, you'll clench.

I usually like quirky, but can’t build up any excitement /interest for these (or the previous 3-wheeler).
The compromises are enormous - and the benefits have no hope of tipping the balance back (for me).

I would love to have a go in one, but agree it's too compromised as an owning proposition (same reason I don't own a bike)

I know people have posted it up before, but somehow I missed it. How good is Iain Tyrrell's Classic Workshop? So much interesting stuff and a really nice level of mechanical detail. Yes, he's a bit 'Partridge', but that adds to the charm for me.

Not a great deal happens for the first two minutes…..

Not the best footage - old school commentary - but it’s 80’s saloons and hot hatches getting a proper lean-on, so it’s worth a watch.

I think this looks great, which is basically the only metric I judge this type of car on now as the performance/tech is so far away from what I'm used to it might as well be a space ship
An absolute unit
