The Weather Thread.
Re: The Weather Thread.
Very strong winds here now.
Re: The Weather Thread.
I was sat working in my kitchen today watching the brick wall bowing in the wind
I'm not sure brick walls are meant to bend?

Was similar here, now a clear sky to go through the night and the moon has just risen. Looks great from in here but it says the winds are still in the 40sSwervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 12:29 pm
It looks fantastic outside - sunniest day all week!
Re: The Weather Thread.
My dog today reminded me of a scene in one of the old Jackass movies where one guy pees into the wind being generated by the jet engine of an airplane...

Powers been out for about an hour. Annoying as winds have died down a lot and was starting to think it was over
Cheers, Harry

Meh. A bit of winter weather. We're having a family weekend around Edinburgh so drove up from N.Yorks this afternoon. Bit of wind, rain, snow but no bother. Happily the A1 was a little quieter than usual.

Three inches of snow in Pudsey.
On one trip to the shop I had two people nearly crash into me after discovering that stability and traction control aren't magic, and one cunt in a lifted disco 1 who deliberately went through the piled up slush in the middle of the road and literally blinded me by covering the windscreen and side windows with thick, claggy slush, which was nice when I was approaching a downhill junction covered in snow and slush.
Driving in snow stone other people makes me think the eugenicists were right.

It's been beautiful sunshine up here in Edinburgh today. A cracking day.
