Definitely need a Class 2 HGV licence. But once you’ve got that licence you can jump into one of these any time you like. Bound to be useful one day.

Re: The ebay thread
I did, but quite inexplicably it doesn't do it for me.
Eighties - yes
RWD - yes
Boxy arches - yes
Large spoiler - yes
Silver - slightly tenuously I'll accept grey as being dark silver - yes
Overall - somehow.... not feeling it.

Beanie & I can be Cortina Starcraft fweinds.
If I bought one of those I'd be sleeping in it for sure (due to my wife kicking me out of the house).

Looks very very saleable. Oddly enough it was Jonny from tlbs who sent me the link. As if I don’t have enough on my hands already

Very nice to find a 1-owner UK car, but it looks rotten, like it's probably only the paint that's holding the rust together ! Malta is a waaay better environment for a car to live in the last 30-40 years.integrale_evo wrote: Fri Feb 18, 2022 10:02 pm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-Alfa-Ro ... 635-2958-0

Re: The ebay thread
Arguably bad taste considering the number of people that died but in terms of the brightness and intensity of the colour (that was intended rather than how it is now...) I can see the logic.nuttinnew wrote: Fri Feb 18, 2022 10:17 pmI'm not sure Pompeii is the best inspiration or name for a colour

Speaking of bad names, this sprung into my mind, of many many years ago, when Gavster & I saw a model of caravan named "pastiche". It means "copy" and generally insinuates a bad copy. Yet this manufacturer thought it was a good name. It's a pastiche of a caravan ? That's not good.
(not my pic):

If I suddenly come into millions of quid, you know this is a thing that's happening.

Surely they were looking for Panache but chose the wrong fancy sounding word
