The way this forum truncates the visible link makes that read 'peedster'.

I hadn't noticed until you posted that. Fortunately the badge on the car is complete.

High mileage Porsche 991. Would love to see the service history. Apparently the suspension is how it was ordered.

Hmm on the one hand the guide price is about half a mint 991.2 Turbo S but that still seems a lot for a highly strung car with moon mileage and an interior worn out like an old Uber and paint work which looks like the surface of the moon.
How about not having a sig at all?

I'm pretty sure I'd never buy a white road car but for a RACE CAR I don't mind. The price looks a bit "WTF" until you read the spec and appreciate what it must have cost to build. Proper E36 Compact rally car:

Spares car? Looks fairly tidy (based on a quick skim).

All those nice cars, and you choose to drive a 22 year old 1.6 every day! You're mental!

TBF, "daily" is a bit of a stretch these days. I've not needed to commute to work since March 2020. We get pretty much all our food delivered by Amazon Fresh. There's a Co-Op about five mins walk from here for emergencies (i.e. booze & snacks). I could literally go for weeks without *needing* to drive anywhere. Which is why the 7 has to go unfortunately.

I obvs don't need another Compact either, but I can probably swing a cheap car as "consolation" for having to sell the 7 ;)

I quite like the green colour, but the red interior is a bit LOUD isn't it? The bright colour also doesn't hide the wear well.

If its been serviced as per the schedule and everything has been replaced when it should have been, mileage wouldn't put me off that if it was going to be a keeper.

What's up with the suspension though? I think I missed that part of the listing.
Cheers,

Mike.

Ordered new with raised suspension for comfort apparently. Which is rather bizarre.

I quite like bold interiors so longs as they aren’t too light, and dark/black elements remain. that one isn’t too bad with the black steering wheel, but Porsche often don’t work for me as they tend to look like someone has exploded a can of paint - with everything the same hue.

That's exactly it. And to be fair, I think that particular shade of red Porsche have used in the past always looks like that.

I'm not sure where I read it, but apparently it was used for driving to somewhere in eastern Europe with fairly unmade roads. So the ride height looks like more of a necessity than the comfort. I'm just amazed that Porsche offer that suspension from the factory.

Ordered in the Netherlands for a Slovakian buyer, who needs to travel large distances at high speed over unmade roads ? Sounds TOTALLY legit ;)

I imagine they'll do anything if you've got the €€€€€€s to pay for it.

 That's one of the reasons it's cool. Like those old Golf R32s with massive miles on used for delivering diamonds.

Does look very tidy, which is getting harder to find these days. Shame it’s not a ti, otherwise it would be an exact twin of my last one.

Be interested to see what it goes for. My Mrs still thinks I’m mental for spending more on my current one with no MOT than I sold the last one for a couple of years ago 😅
Cheers, Harry
