Three SD1s on the M25 the other day. First one was in full police livery with the "police" covered.

A Spitfire of the winged variety. Did a couple of passes overhead with a victory roll in between, fantastic.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Are spitfires that rare for you guys?
I’ve seen 1-3 flying about the South coast everyday the weather has been good for the last god knows how many years.
The prices for it are mad though!

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Not that rare as I don't live that far from Lincolnshire but always an occasion IMO. The one above is in the south though.

Left over crest; tightens.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
This abomination today. The finish was lumpy as hell too.

Fiat paint tends to be a bit shit.

My missus sees that quite a lot, she keeps sending me pictures of it for some reason.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
No pictures but yesterday I saw a Ford Gran Torino in red with a white stripe.
There's loads of very nice cars driving round Burford. There was a gold 60's Ferrari of some description last week, freshly whittled Morgans galore, more MacLarens than I can shake a stick at (three in the last week. My stick shaking arm gets tired quickly) and 3 Tesla Model S's that I pass on my commute every day.
The works car park here has another Model S, Jag XFR, Merc A45 AMG, Overfinch Range Rover Sport and a rather pretty Maserati Ghibli.

Seen twice the last couple of days, but only from the front, thought it was a 944 Turbo, but has a NACA duct on the bonnet, so would that be a 924 turbo?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
If it had wide arches and a NACA duct chances are it's just a 924 with a bodykit or 944 with a stuck on NACA duct.Beany wrote: Fri Jul 20, 2018 10:20 am Seen twice the last couple of days, but only from the front, thought it was a 944 Turbo, but has a NACA duct on the bonnet, so would that be a 924 turbo?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
NACA duct implies 924T but you probably would have noticed it was narrower than 944. No arch blisters. Wide body 924 (CarreraGT etc) have scoops on their bonnets instead.Beany wrote: Fri Jul 20, 2018 10:20 am Seen twice the last couple of days, but only from the front, thought it was a 944 Turbo, but has a NACA duct on the bonnet, so would that be a 924 turbo?
