I keep wondering if that is Scott Ferg’s old car…

Yeah same, the kind of muscle car vibe of it and the tray bed are cool.Rich B wrote: Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:08 pm That last black pick up stands out for me - no idea why - must be the tippex'd tyre lettering!

Excellent pics as always @Peterlplp![]()
i'd have custom bike racks. Though my bro now has an Amarok- mainly for hauling our bikes and it works well over the rear gate.mik wrote: Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:43 pmExactly![]()
Although I have no idea what you do with that rear “tray bed” (stealing the phrase from zed). You’d need nets n ropes n straps I assume. (BDSM joke in there somewhere)
A tray back is totally normal in Australia, I assume NZ too. Maybe just a cultural thing.mik wrote: Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:43 pm Although I have no idea what you do with that rear “tray bed” (stealing the phrase from zed). You’d need nets n ropes n straps I assume. (BDSM joke in there somewhere)
It's usually for carrying stuff that's a uniform shape but big enough to be awkward in a normal pick up bed, pallets, hay bales etc. Drop side beds are more practical as you need to strap in anything as you say, but the tray beds are popular as an aesthetic choice in Aus and NZ.mik wrote: Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:43 pmExactly![]()

I looked up the hilux and it's registered as a 4000cc petrol so there's probably a nice 1UZ under the bonnet.Rich B wrote: Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:08 pm That last black pick up stands out for me - no idea why - must be the tippex'd tyre lettering!
