Smokey bacon are very good but I prefer paprika because I'm odd like that. In terms of texture, I rather like buggles, wheat crunchies and the new poppables.

I also have fond memories of Brannigans from my time at uni. The ham and mustard flavour was almost painful to eat because they were so mustardy.

The best crisps are actually salted tortilla chips. They can handle way more hummus before they break.

Smokey bacon were my fave as a child but as someone else said, they repeat terribly now. Bacon fires are great. I used to enjoy spring onion but you can't get them now.

Almost all crisps are great (the exception being those Scampi Fries which Nathan likes) but I have a particular penchant for Snyders Pretzel Pieces in jalapeno flavour currently.

The Walkers Sensations ginger and wasabi are surprisingly good. Real Handcooked jalapeno are also great, but the simplicity of Walkers' Cheese and Onion is sometimes all you need.

The hot buffalo wing flavour Pretzel bits are dynamite.

I've also been really into corn nuts recently. I can't remember the brand but my missus has been picking up these habanero ones that are amazing.

Having served my time I'd like to add the BBQ flavour Buggles, Skips and Seabrook's Prawn Cocktail.

Used to be quite fond of quavers but did a job at the factory in Lincoln recently and the smell ended that!

There was a Twop Twips the other day that said something like "recreate Branigans Ham and Mustard flavour crisps by sucking an OXO cube whilst snorting a line of english mustard"

Brannigans did those gorgeous Beer Nuts as well - peanuts roasted in their skins covered in sea salt. I loved them so much I kept a back-board on my wall for a few years (student, obvs).

They are nice and I like the curry one also. But they’re more like mini biscuit crackers.
