Proud Dad!

I am not allowed to tell anyone on social media or anything but my wee girl just got accepted for the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023!

After a slightly restricted selection process out of hundreds that applied. Had to tell someone or I will burst with pride.

Big congrats, we’ve got some from my group going through selection at the moment.

I never got to go to one in my time as a scout and now as an adult leader unfortunately don’t have the time to devote to jamboree stuff, but I know several who have been and they all say it’s a great experience.

That's great. Well done!! South Korea is a great place too. I had a week in Seoul on business and loved it. People are really nice and very generous/kind. She'll have a great time.
