Broccers is a vaccine and lockdown sceptic, everyone else seems to respect the science.

Don't know if Clive saw this the first time but it seems worth repeating

Had my booster this morning. So far ok but others saying it starts to ache after a day.

Then this evening, pinged by the app, close contact with someone on Saturday who has tested positive.

Don’t know who yet. But if I’m ill then who knows if it’s the booster or not!

You see, as with any losing battle, the opposition go to ridiculing rather than accept they, themselves, are the fools.

They're doing us up like kippers. Just watch the news.

Thought you were talking about CV. Yes I'm fully vaxed on everything that any normal kid would've been. Getting yellow fever vax in the new year too.

On vaxes, I hope something comes of this

If the UK guv tells you to have a jab every few weeks to save Christmas, or your unborn grandchildren, will you go along with it? Its utter shit.

I'm sure most of you are really questioning how done over we've been.

Come on Broccers, tell everyone the facts. Try to sum it up in broad terms without resorting to "do your own research."

It amazes me that we've had vaccines for literally over 200 years, we've seen diseases practically eradicated from this world thanks to their use and yet still people question whether they work or not, even when you can literally point to graphs that show improving outcomes amongst age groups who get vaccines first against those who get them later on.

If it's all a great conspiracy then what's the end game? If politicians around the world wanted to be corrupt enough to, say, get enormous kickbacks from 'big pharma' then don't you think they have just would've thought of a simpler scam than one involving literally thousands of scientists and peer reviewed journals? Surely it's just simpler to steal direct from the treasury directly huh?

Just what is the point of a vaccine conspiracy?

If you say 'control' then the government already 'control' you. They tell you you have to pass a test to drive a car, get a passport to cross borders, to pay your taxes, to send your kids to school, the list is endless. Now they can strip the citizenship from non British-born nationals without a word, turn back migrant boats in the channel and spy on every phone call you ever make and every web search you ever perform. What more control do you think they want? WHAT IS THE POINT?

You tell me. How is it possible in such a short period of time every human, no matter their health status, needs an injection every 3 months? Ask yourself how, before today, we survived so long.

Hmmmm, could it be because Covid-19 didn’t exist so a jab wasn’t needed until now?

It's not about the individual but rather the herd. Most people don't die from C19. This isn't news to you. But you need to vaccinate everyone (or as many people as realistically possible) to protect the minority who might die from it, and to ultimately reduce the spread of the virus and reduce its chances of mutating. Now with the OG variant and even with Alpha that herd immunity was possible. With Delta and particularly Omicron it's a pipe dream, so all you can do is try and control the numbers as much as possible to stop hospitals becoming overwhelmed with sick patients, so that the hospitals can function for non-C19 related activities.

And yes, sure. I'd much rather have a jab than get a nasty flu, no question.

It's only 3 months by the way so that they can get the boosters out the door in a race against Omicron. Without omicron they were happy with 6 months remember, and we don't yet know about antibody waning with 3 doses yet, so we may or may not need more in the future. Don't forget that some vaccines you give babies are 3 dose jobs.

Got as far as this. If being vaxed doesnt stop a spread why fucking bother. It' s a farce.
