Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes

I saw this t'other day, how to manage things pre tc;
I know you'll know all that long time, was educative for me

Really wanted to watch this as the cars are out of this world but they're even more OTT than Schmee

Brilliant - never knew she had a channel, subscribed
Also, Brian Johnson! Love him - "What's the difference between a Porsche and a Porcupine?"

That was legit fascinating, particularly the history/purpose of the big bang bikes, which I know nothing about.
Worth setting half an hour aside for.

@revsRus this little clip has probably already been posted from another video, but in case not;
I haven't watched it all yet, don't know if you pop up again.

That utter bell shows the difference between a raised air intake and a snorkel, he had a raised air intake

Yeah, confirmed in yesterday’s video.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 10:47 amJust saw Retropower post about this yesterday - this is the secret project they were working on I believe?
Not that fussed about it myself but I hope it’s a success for them.

Yeah, I must abdmit I was a bit meh about it, especially given the months' worth of mentions they've been making about it. I can't get that excited about E30 M3 projects I'm afraid.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 8:02 amYeah, confirmed in yesterday’s video.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 10:47 amJust saw Retropower post about this yesterday - this is the secret project they were working on I believe?

I don’t really like any of it and think it’s absurd money.
I’m sure the engineering is top notch, but it seems like change for the sake of it without actually improving much.
The top gear vid with Ollie starts with a standard m3 and then moves to the new one. All it does in my eyes is make the new one look awkward.
I love the wheels, but it sits too high and don’t think the changes to the arch shapes add too much, the headlights are awful and making the front brake ducts into tiny little round holes seems an odd decision. In the TG vid it looked like it was burning a lot of oil too!
For my £300k I’d have a nicely modified road car and a close to dtm spec track toy with plenty of change.
