VB just isn't good enough to make a difference imo. Even if he did get in front of MV in quali, he'd not stay there. You saw how long it took him to get past Ocon.duncs500 wrote: Mon Dec 06, 2021 9:13 amThis.mik wrote: Mon Dec 06, 2021 8:34 am And a 10sec penalty for an action (brake test) which I can only rationalise as an attempt to cause a collision? Wot?
I guess firstly the RB might just be plain faster in AD, we know the last two were Merc tracks. Team mates could be crucial going into the last race as well though, let's say the Merc happens to be the better package, VB planting himself between MV and LH could be massive (as long as he could stay there for a change). If there's one driver MV couldn't bully in that situation it's VB. If Merc win the constructors and drivers title because VB manages to get his elbows out he could still be the hero.

Err, called it?!JonMad wrote: Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:05 am Level on points into the final race. Max leads Lewis but bins it on the last corner into the wall with the finish in sight. He has just enough drive to punt Lewis off as he passes. Max jumps out of his car, Lewis sees and follows suit. They race on foot, Chris Froome stylee, to the finish line. Lewis, who also grabbed his steering wheel, doesn’t have the pace of the younger man but his lead from where his car came to rest is sufficient and he takes the win on the line.
What are the odds?
Can't be any more bizarre than the penalty negotiations.

I really hope we get a good clean race, keeping the excitement going until the very end when Lewis wins.

Someone's got to be last. So long as Mazepins dad is happy funding his shit driver son, they'll carry on that way.

Re: No F1 thread?
They've put all their resources into next year, should be a top 3 car

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: No F1 thread?
As Mito said they’ve spent all their cash on next year. They did the bare minimum to get last years car compliant for this year and wrote this year off, they’ve used it purely to give their 2 young drivers experience of a Grand Prix weekend so they’re not going into a season with a (possibly) competitive car blind
Re: No F1 thread?
Will Haas have the biggest budget for R&D next year or is that rule coming in a few years later? Regardless I don't think they'll be able to afford full use of their allowance. The Force India team would have done well with those rules, they always made a competitive car with a relatively small budget.

Wow! Channel 4 actually got it?!
Ironically, at the time it's on, I'll be driving around Silverstone!
I'd already planned to go back to my brothers after to watch it with him on sky!
