Today's want
Re: Today's want
I didn’t mean it from a wear and tear perspective.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Today's want
I didn't say you did - you're still incorrect. It's not horrible at all.

Will take some better ones and upload them somewhere. Flickr is restricting uploads.

Another vote for alcantara here. I'm not surprised that Jobbo was the first to correct him though, I remember when he looked in my 'xige he came out muttering something about alcantara.

I thought you were going to say because Jobbo is the King of Correct and Mito is the forum mumbloid

Even the obvious benefits from being pointed out, so we're all using the same obvious as a benchmark. Write that down
Re: Today's want
I suppose my hands are fairly oil free and I would wash the palms of my hands if, for instance, I had applied suncream. Just common sense things really. The wheel and gearstick are both fine.GG. wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 2:47 pmSo I guess it is really the oils from your hands that wreck the wheel/gear lever or is that fine on your car too, Paul?PaulJ wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 2:45 pmAgreed. Alcantara is great, and my Cayman GTS is now 4 and a bit years / 32000 miles old and the interior is in almost as new condition.Jobbo wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 2:10 pm
Incorrect. Alcantara is great.
ETA: and to GG, it doesn't wear badly at all - if you ever see a Lancia Thema or Integrale now have a look at how well it stands up long term.
