Looks in great condition that. Very nice.
Left over crest; tightens.

I approve of the compactness of this thread.

It really is surprising how rare these are now, especially in the Sport spec. I'm sure a large number of them have been destroyed by the drift crowd.

Edit to add - are those ACS mirrors too ?

E36 vs 46?

I don’t know, probably me just being weird. I like that the e36 is a strange mishmash of 80s rear suspension and 90s build and user friendliness and feels very much like an e30 to drive.

I don’t hate the looks even though I know they’re a bit strange, and like that it reintroduced small rwd cars, although they’re now dying back out again.

I like how small, narrow and nimble e36s feel.

Don’t get me wrong, the e46 is probably ‘better’ in absolutely every measurable way, as well as being available with a 6pot from the factory ( the e36 was too just not over here ) but I don’t know, they just don’t do it for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, certainly lots destroyed and lots raced in various series’ as well as their own one when they were really cheap. Took me ages to even find a sport rear bumper for the last one.

Apparently they’re e46 m3 mirrors custom fitted? They’re not awful, but I’m not sure about them. I have a spare set of genuine e36 m3 mirrors in stock so might put those on the match the blue one.

I've had both and the E36 is definitely a lighter more agile little thing. The E46 Compact is literally a trimmed down E46. The E36, as Harry says, is a mishmash and (IMO) ends up having its own character.

Of course you would, it's a very Jobbo interior (which I also happen to approve of too!)

It’s a shame they didn’t do the door card inserts with the same material. I’ve see others the same but seems odd when the ones with similar cloth but black bolsters got coloured inserts.

I had 318ti in Sienarot with red cloth seats (minus the nineties casino pattern). Was a lovely car. I applaud this purchase.
Cunt.
