Leather belt
Leather belt
No I don’t want fashion advice.
Looking for a decent quality black leather belt that isn’t silly money (for me < £25 seems about right).
Has to be a single piece of leather. None of this laminated shit that somehow can still claim to be genuine 100% leather (?).
Zero interest in “designer” branding.
Seller based in UK ideally to avoid any Brexit related bollocks.
I shall - of course - ignore most of your suggestions

Re: Leather belt
There's a nice shop on the high street that did me one for £18.
Re: Leather belt
Thank you for your contribution Mr Newt. As your belts have presumably prevented your actual explosion for a very many years now, I should heed your advices.
Re: Leather belt
No bondage stuff (this time) Marvald - just a normal casual belt
Re: Leather belt

Marv is correct though the last leather belt I got was from M&S and it did a grand job of holding my trousers up.
I have this in a few colours now. It’s like a NATO strap for your waist.

You are most welcome. The man, or the shop, or possibly both was called James.mik wrote: Sun Oct 31, 2021 10:30 am Thank you for your contribution Mr Newt. As your belts have presumably prevented your actual explosion for a very many years now, I should heed your advices.
Seriously though, isn't a belt a belt? Or is there some sort of belt connoisseur thing that I don't know about.

Go to a shop?
Not sure if this thread is genuine or not

Re: Leather belt
Unfortunately I am not currently beside a shop.
I am however currently sat right beside The Internet, and was hoping that someone would point me towards www.topqualitybutcheaplratherbeltsmate.co.uk or similar.with a personal recommendation based on actual experience.
I was also secretly hoping that someone would pop up and advise me that the one things a man should never scrimp in is the quality of his belt - that they only ever use aged ostrich scrotum leather belts that are £375 but worth every penny.

Re: Leather belt
I’m sure your usual supplier of bondage and restraint equipment can knock up a bespoke belt.
Re: Leather belt
I bought a generic one from Amazon a couple of years ago
This one
Blasea Full Grain Leather Casual Style Belts for Men
It's not available anymore, but lots like it
It's great. Really well made. Has worn in really nicely
It had a naff name on the first belt loop, so I just took it off
Job done

Re: Leather belt
Ditch leather and buy a Billybelt
Re: Leather belt
I got one that was handmade on Arran. I have had it over twenty years and it still stops me being arrested for nudity. HTH
I also bought a brown one, as you described, for a tenner that is also still working in the intended manner. It may have come from Gap or Next or some other retailer. That probably does not help.

Re: Leather belt
You will all be relieved to know that Ingot one of these for chrimpy.
https://www.arnoldleathergoods.co.uk/pr ... style-452/
Single strip of leather - as every discerning gentleman demands.
So if we meet, and my trousers end up at my ankles - you can now be reassured that it was intentional.

Re: Leather belt
Nothing says 2022 like wearing a dead animal round your waist.
How about not having a sig at all?

Only if Christmas 2021 is now in 2022*.
(* Though tbf, I'm not 100% sure what "Ingot one of these for chrimpy" means when translated from Scottish to English...)
