Ta mik, aside from the incidents it was a good watch. I didn't realise the climb was so steep from the hairpin up the straight, likewise the drop after the start.

I hope nef holds onto his sponsor Caber when there's a tosser on the grid.

I always watch the coverage and wonder if it was the same race as I was in! Partly it's down to the commentary being put together from the video footage rather than actually being there, and partly the skewed perception you get from an adrenaline filled cockpit.
My perception in the first race was that I spend the entire time glued to Seb's gearbox with multiple attempts at an overtake. The view from the coverage was that I was just hanging on, and only really closed up to as pass attempt in the last few laps.
Apologies for the interview, it was deeply cringe-worthy, and conclusive proof of why interviews will never get any sense out of a driver 10 seconds after he's fallen out of the car!
