I was glad that it wasn’t cancelled, then I heard Di Resta was replacing Brundle this race

Should hopefully be a good race.
I reckon Hamilton’s career is over once Russell joins next year, that’s what, twice now he’s out qualified both Mercedes this year isn’t it!

We'll see. Don't think that's a justified conclusion based on two instances.

Mclaren, Ferrari and Williams heading the field. Just like the good old days
Wonder when the last time those three filled the top three spaces on the grid was?

Great to see Williams back at the front end of the field after so many years away. Fingers crossed for George.

Despite a ntural urge to defend a fellow Scot and call you a bellend, I have to say, a whole two hours of "He's went" and "but on the other side" and s on is more than I requite on a weekend. "They've did that in the last pit stop"
Fantastic quali though, nice to see it mixed up due to conditions and another top 3 for Russell is astounding given his car.
Re: No F1 thread?
Bottas starting 17th, taken a new power unit
Re: No F1 thread?
“A tactical decision” apparently. Is this just to troll Verstappen then? Can’t recall Bottas holding up Max for more than a few laps whenever he’s been in front this year.

Re: No F1 thread?
Agree - one of his key failings is an inability to keep a competitor behind him. LeClerc, Alonso, Norris etc. are all streets ahead in that regard.
Re: No F1 thread?
With Perez in 8th now I’d have wanted Bottas up there for the constructors at least.

Is this going to be exciting or what?

Re: No F1 thread?
Yep that’s a waste of an engine and a bunch of constructors points.

"It feared Leclerc" instead of "scared Leclerc". I'm not sure English is his first language.Gavin wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 9:25 amDespite a ntural urge to defend a fellow Scot and call you a bellend, I have to say, a whole two hours of "He's went" and "but on the other side" and s on is more than I requite on a weekend. Have the tv graphics chaps forgotten to show the pit timers? Looks like all the stops were pretty slow so far.
