The Weather Thread.
Re: The Weather Thread.
Our A/C works on an office by office basis and the unit in mine has been broken for the past few weeks - needless to say I'm happy its cooler today.
Re: The Weather Thread.
I've gone full Arab and just leave the car running while I go into shops and stuff. Actually illegal to do this now but hey. It's. HOT.
Re: The Weather Thread.
Got a weather warning for thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. Scotland avoids it, Wales gets it, the only part of England left out is the North East. Who knows, we might even get a light show like earlier in the year. It's soon back to normal though, high 20s Sat, uv at 8 Sun, pollution at 6 for Mon ( ).
Re: The Weather Thread.
Just had rain, a week late but there you go. No stormage yet, just heavy rain.
Edit; distant bangs and rumbles, might get something interesting yet.

Re: The Weather Thread.
We had rain yesterday afternoon, whilst I was riding home in my summer gear, which is basically mesh that lets water straight through

Had an hour of light rain yesterday, first time in nearly three months. It’s done nothing meaningful to help the garden.

Air pollution 6 (highest I've seen here yet), though Canterbury is at 7 and gets a warning; https://uk-air.defra.gov.uk/
Looks like I chose the wrong day to go there [/McCroskey].
60% chance of thunderstorms tonight, 90% chance of thundershowers tomorrow.

Hit 36.5 on the car OBC a few miles away from Heathrow in Richmond earlier. I think Heathrow was the warmest place today at 35 but it didn’t feel too bad as there was a breeze. Will be interesting if we get a lightning storm and no rain!
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: The Weather Thread.
Just had much rolling rumbling, rain that sounded like someone throwing handfuls of gravel over the house, and that's it, over. Probably just enough to make the Yeti look dirty again; for that I want some decent rain
There were also some distressed dogs crying. It sounded like they were outside and very much not liking the weather, and there were also some angry shouts of shut up that sounded like they came from the same area so probably the owners

Apparently it will hit 18deg today. Still two duvet on the bed mind you - no central heating or insulation to speak of, makes for cold houses.
The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

Road closed near us due to a fire in a field yesterday. These are only going to get more prevalent. https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/n ... re-1830836
How is there still not a hose pipe ban when the reservoirs are generally getting so low? I can't imagine the aquifers are particularly full now.
