I just hope this is the beginning of a better England.

Aside from football, the way the team and fans have been in Russia has projected a better image that I hope sticks.
It certainly seems Southgate is the leader needed.

If Southgate gets sacked before the next World Cup that will be a tragedy.

Really well played, no one thought we'd get out the group stages but we're playing for third place now.

I've never watched football, I've only ever watched one full game in my life, but I enjoyed following this World Cup.

Bugger. I’m having a barbecue on Saturday and now the guests are going to end up watching the pointless play-off rather than being sociable.

They’ll have a better time? I don’t know any football fans who enjoy watching England. It’s like self-harm.

It's a closely guarded secret that the wild haggis was hunted to extinction years ago. That's why we make them out of bits of animals no one else will eat now.
