NATO straps
Re: NATO straps
I'm just having flashbacks to all the terrible Animal and Fossil watches I had as a kid now.
An absolute unit

Well that would be bonkers. I’d be amazed if there was even a single Steps fan out there who doesn’t have the full Bee Gees back catalogue.Jobbo wrote: Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:49 am It's like saying you really like Tragedy by Steps and haven't heard of the Bee Gees.

Re: NATO straps
Who leaves the band on their cigar when they're smoking it? Presumably it's so everyone knows it's an expensive one?

Re: NATO straps
Interestingly given we're talking about NATO it is in the news as we speak.
Seems Trump has had somewhat of another diplomatic triumph as he's bullied the Germans and Canadians into increasing their defence spending to the minimum commitment level of 2% by threatening to pull out. It's an ugly style of diplomacy (if you can even call it that) but it seems to have worked where decades of previous pressure from both Republican and Democrat presidents has failed.
I have no sympathy for the Germans however, who have been asked by all quarters to increase spending to reduce intra-eurozone imbalances so meeting their existing commitments seems like an easy way to do it.
