Enjoyed that.
Red would be my choice (and bronze wheels), but A110 > Yaris for me.

More paint porn on the Jag.
Re: Harry’s Garage
That’s going to be such a wonderful car when it’s done, the whole thing looks classy and useable.
There is a red Yaris around here and it looks amazing, when you see the rear diff it reminds you of a modern day I tergrale, 3 door Impreza etc.
Dave!

Ah, I forgot this thread exists.
Bodywork done by a fucking plasterer. 20kg of filler removed.
Looks like the next video will have lots of metal forming/panel beating which will be enjoyable to watch

For someone most people think of as an automotive expert and someone happy to give thoughts and opinions on all sorts of auction rarities and exotica, he doesn’t half buy some bodged up sheds
Cheers, Harry
Re: Harry’s Garage
He has stated in the past that the Fulvia was bought knowing it was a bit rough, would need some work and wasn't expected to be remotely concourse, but I don't think 'most of the body is filler' was an expected part of the bargain
Re: Harry’s Garage
I think he gets excited and impulse buys a lot of stuff. A cursory inspection would have told him there might have been big issues with the Lancia, even just comparing it to a picture of oneintegrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:27 am For someone most people think of as an automotive expert and someone happy to give thoughts and opinions on all sorts of auction rarities and exotica, he doesn’t half buy some bodged up sheds

I think in the past he might have excused some of the slight shape differences on the bodies being hand built/coach built so every one was a bit different.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:32 amI think he gets excited and impulse buys a lot of stuff. Does anybody watch these vids or what He saw the car as a child and wanted it no matter what condition it was in.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:32 amI think he gets excited and impulse buys a lot of stuff. Ah yeah, I remember that now.
TBF, there is usually a good reason for buying the things he buys even if they're a bit sheddy. The Jag with a manual is a very cool oddity. The only one he doesn't really have an excuse for is the Artic Rolls but even that has a good story now.

Re: Harry’s Garage
Theres only so many videos people can make about a car:
Initial purchase and first impressions...
Modifications...
Road trips...
Comparison against competition...
Issues...
Then that's about it, so then all that's left is selling it.
And repeat for next car.

Nope, it definitely means it's shit and everyone got sucked in by the hype. Just like the coronavirus.

I've seen noone do a road trip on one yet - was it exciting? Get much luggage in ? How many Mpgs?
