Re: F-Type
Honestly, I'd rather have E36 stalks in my 996 instead of the rubbish that Porsche came up with all on their own. Even the Mk3 Cav stalks were better.integrale_evo wrote: Mon Jul 09, 2018 11:49 pm McLaren f1 has bmw e36 electric window switches and steering wheel stalks![]()

Re: F-Type
I like that the race car one has an obc stalk, presumably to scroll between functions on the dash, the road car has the basic non bc version

Cheers, Harry
Re: F-Type
That's what I thought too - looks like it doesn't it

Re: F-Type
I was trying to be all cool and hilarious like normal, but then I let my imagination wander into being the driver that sits into that central seat and has that most glorious of all cars to use to get the job done, for example Le Mans, and frankly had to go for a little lie down.

Thought to myself thats CAF. Imagine racing that. It would be a beast.
Re: F-Type
I reckon he means the gold and black rectangular thing to the left of the drivers seat.
Re: F-Type
It is where the handbrake would be, maybe it's one of the road legal conversions.
An absolute unit
Re: F-Type
Hill starts so they dont burn the clutch holding it on the grid. Some FF cars have a handbrake fitted also.
Re: F-Type
Didn't the early Zondas use Rover 75 HVAC controls?

Re: F-Type
I always thought DB7s were the worst offender for this kind of thing. Ford wheel, ford switches, etc. Horrible gear selector surround
