Ferrari 296 GTB
Re: Ferrari 296 GTB
Also no need to defend the 612. One of the finest looking 2+2 coupes ever made.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Ferrari 296 GTB
To be honest this 296 looks very 'plastic' and looks like it's made by an American kit car company.

Re: Ferrari 296 GTB
Not sure about that. I think it looks a bit cumbersome compared to the cars before and after (456 & FF). Also it's headlights were always too small.Mito Man wrote: Fri Jun 25, 2021 12:36 pm Also no need to defend the 612. One of the finest looking 2+2 coupes ever made.
An absolute unit
Re: Ferrari 296 GTB
458 is a great looking car, but since then (from a visual perspective) they just seem to add more vents and lines to it, spoiling the simplicity of the design. The 296 takes it back to a much more simple shape and I love the 250 LM inspired curves which to me give it a 'prettiness' rather than the 'sharpness' of the 488/F8. Agree that the rear could be a bit tidier and I would much prefer traditional looking exhaust pipes.
I hated the 612 when it came out but think they look fab now.... Still not as great as a well spec'd 456 though.

Re: Ferrari 296 GTB
I quite like it, but all I need is an F12.
F355, F12, F40, F50, 458 Speciale. These are some correct Ferrraris. I CBA to do my full list of which ones are better than which ones.
I actually think the F430 has aged quite well TBH, but nobody talks about it. F40 aside, Ferraris with a turbot just seem wrong to me.

The Ford Probe?

The front view looks like someone dropped their lunchbox on the clay model.
