Slow burner but the first thing I did was see if Episode 2 could be downloaded so I suppose that’s a good thing.

Winslet is very convincing as the American cop
Well that was fucking awesome. Plenty of twists and turns, all done and dusted in one series. No cliffhangers for series two etc.

Best thing in TV since Chernobyl

9.9 out of 10

Ah, I might check that out. We’ve been looking for something to watch since we finally got round to finishing Dark.

Same.

We've been catching up on Stumptown, slightly oddball detective series based on a graphic novel starring the very watchable Cobie Smulders and Jake Johnson. Has been cancelled after only 2 series though.

I downloaded Mare of Easttown this morning as it seems to be the new best thing ever, but good to hear positive reviews on here too.

I know nothing about it so am intrigued as to whether its about a horse... does Winslet play a horse... or is it actually about a mayor as we call/spell them? Can't wait to find out.
Cheers,

Mike.

I watched the first 3 episodes last night. It’s very good. Not sure it’s Chernobyl good, but definitely worth watching.

I finished it over the weekend. The acting is great, its all a bit grim, but I don't understand the hype. Its a good, solid crime thriller with some great performances in it. Nowhere near something like Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, Watchmen etc.

Well worth a watch.

Loki starts tonight, so that will hopefully be much less grim but it doesn't have Kate Winslet in it which is a shame.
Cheers,

Mike.

Jeezus fucking fuck - it’s really fucking good but it’s tense as fuck and every episode is stress

Inside #9 always good/weird and I'm only just catching up the latest series, but Episode 2's take on the ending of Game of Thrones and fan reaction was very great.

Loki and Mare of Eastown on the list to watch for the weekend. Along with catching up Legomasters Australia (absolutely recommended for Lego fans)

Dan Carter - Perfect 10 - on Sky Documentaries.

Very good summary of his career. Very humble, down to earth guy for someone who is arguably, the best ever in his position.

Loki very slick but at this stage I'm not sure that Umbrella Academy didn't do the mysterious time agency thing better.

Yes. I thought so too. Sean Bean makes everything better (as does Stephen Graham). Great bit of drama on the BBC.

Is anyone else watching Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime? Utterly charming, entertaining and I'm sure might even change a few opinions about him (but probably not).
Cheers,

Just finished watching the Clarkson's Farm show. Really enjoyed it. Farming looks like bloody hard work!

Have enjoyed and episode and half so far. Kaleb looks like an excellent foil for Clarkson. The farming fatality statistic is bloody shocking although not surprising with the state of the "safety" features of some of the old tractors and gear he looked at.

Respect to Clarkson for seemingly giving it a genuine go, it's a very hard job.

Never realised my great uncle's intimidating sheep dogs might be worth five figures each!
