Heatwave scores
Re: Heatwave scores
32 yesterday afternoon in the room I’m working in, which went up to 42 once the direct sunlight came round for a bit.

I think I can hear the heating kicking in
Re: Heatwave scores
I hope this downward trend stops soon, I might need to stop wearing shorts otherwise.

Worst graph ever.
Re: Heatwave scores
21 at 7a.m.. I don't know how accurate that was but the aircon felt chilly set at 18.
Re: Heatwave scores
It's a bit crisper up north this morning - showers overnight it seems - but still around 15deg so quite pleasant. Warm enough that you don't need a jacket, not so warm that you feel the need to hit up the aircon, just having the windows open is fine.

Re: Heatwave scores
I was sunbathing in my pants yesterday afternoon. Hopefully the clouds will part and I'll be out there again today!

27 yesterday whilst in the car. Fortunately the nights are still cool though but I made the mistake of leaving my bedroom window open - who would have thought there's fucking birds in London singing at 3:30am
Back to the AC unit it is.

Is the pollen count up? It feels like the pollen count is up.
Re: Heatwave scores
I wouldn’t be surprised, we’ve had tree pollen coming down like snow on our street for about a week.
An absolute unit
Re: Heatwave scores
I think the pollen count is up a tad here but pollution is up more I think.
Re: Heatwave scores
It was showing 28° in London yesterday
Clouded over in the afternoon though and there was a cooler wind blowing. Thought it was going to chuck it down (didn't happen while I was there though)

My car hit 28.5 at 15:00 yesterday afternoon but I'd guess it was actually a few degrees less. We went to play Footgolf and with a good breeze and a little cloud cover, it was quite pleasant.

I had that feeling when you aren’t sure if you are coming down with a cold or your hay fever is playing up; popped a loratadine to be on the safe side.ZedLeg wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 11:33 am I wouldn’t be surprised, we’ve had tree pollen coming down like snow on our street for about a week.

Footgolf - also known as getting your 14 year old to go for a walk with his parents without moaning excessivelyExplosive Newt wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 2:54 pmTIL footgolf is a thing.dinny_g wrote: Thu Jun 03, 2021 12:58 pm My car hit 28.5 at 15:00 yesterday afternoon but I'd guess it was actually a few degrees less. My colleague gave me a lift in her car yesterday lunchtime and the temp read 30.0C. But it's a Renault so should its electronics be trusted?
