Re: Active posters.
I'm on pretty much everyday. Not the most prolific poster and can't be arsed with some of the bollocks that gets spouted but in general I find this one little corner of the interweb rather enjoyable.

I just try and post videos to the YouTube threads before anyone else does.

Re: Active posters.
I try to when I remember. But I'm getting old (and busier it seems) so my posts are somewhat sporadic.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
Re: Active posters.
I browse occasionally, roll my eyes usually, rarely post but still find the place amusing.

Re: Active posters.
Many of these chumps have been around since the early noughties when the forum was dark blue and you had to phone evo towers if it went down.
I don’t know what that means, but it seems important.
I’ve realised that I enjoy stories, and I most enjoy the stories of ownership on this forum, especially from the more tech minded who make long posts like “there was a bit of a wobble on the steering and I thought it might be the offside flange sprocket, so I took the engine out and rebuilt it, here’s some pics.” It’s a type of car ownership I aspire to, although I would probably get someone else to do it.
Also, it is nice to be part of a community that isn’t just colleagues, which is the way friendships seem to go as I age.

I came for the cars. I stayed for the idiots.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Active posters.
I went to the NEC motorshow 1995 and they had a rally simulator competition on, I got in the top 10 and won a Scooby McRae signed poster.
I stored that poster so well , I've not a clue where it went, never to be found again; twas my favourite poster.

I was on 69 posts as well

Re: Active posters.
I should have said post a picture of your best current car.
Re: Active posters.
Still look in several times per day but find myself reading fewer threads recently, and posting in fewer still.
Re: Active posters.
This is like dissecting a joke.
The place has generallyboutspoken and largely intelligent people who have a sense of humour. It’s good fun and a nice place to vent at times.
Dave!
