You didn't get the leeches, did you?

Re: Coronavirus
So I’ve got 5G on my phone now, I guess it takes a few weeks for the vaccines to kick in and get activated.
This is not in any way whatsoever related to my new phone arriving today.

How about not having a sig at all?

Re: Coronavirus
Are you 38/39 as well? How did it work? Did they actually offer you an option or just have Pfizer ready?

Re: Coronavirus
My sister-in-law just had her second AZ, 8 weeks after her first. Got the text on Thursday, jabbed today. She's a group 6 (vulnerable). That's a really quick turn around from 'change of policy' to 'needle in arm'.

Here we go again: ignoring exponential rises and playing in favour of people wanting to go to the pub.
Well, the gamble is keeping pubs shut for a couple of weeks now until we’re sure this is contained vs the risk of being shut for months in another prolonged and costly lockdown.
I hope I am wrong and the vaccines give us some traction. But you need to be on the front foot to get benefit from them, and we are not there yet, especially in these poorer / more ethnically diverse areas. And let’s face it, this has been the pattern every time.

How is it possible that 70000 people can cram in a stadium to watch boxing and there's no wave after?
A miracle.
A miracle.

This one's on Boris. Everything was going fine until he kept air traffic flowing with India as he wanted to get some deals over the line, some of which would benefit the family of his Chancellor (Sunak's) wife's family (Infosys). It was a month between India saying 'we're worried about this variant' and Boris enacting the red list for India. It's all on him, the fucking idiot.Explosive Newt wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 8:46 pm Here we go again: ignoring exponential rises and playing in favour of people wanting to go to the pub.

Up until quire recently, I was optimistic that the government had learned lessons from last year, but unfortunately not. This isn’t hindsight, this is ignoring well thought out plans again. At this rate, we will be in lockdowns for years to come.

Ironically, it appears that leaving India off the red list was heavily linked to brexit.

Sorry mate you're wrong. Rich B is adamant that the roadmap is the end of any restrictions.MikeHunt wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 9:35 pm Up until quire recently, I was optimistic that the government had learned lessons from last year, but unfortunately not. I had my first jab on 20th April with virtually no side effects, but for the last few days now my arm has started aching again.
Have I got Long COVID ?

Recurrence of pain at the injection site after initial recovery is usually an indication of post-Covid Aids, no?
