Thanks for the heads up, up until yesterday it was 44 which we aren't quite eligible for.
It didn’t seem well publicised this morning. My Dad rang me as he’d heard it on LBC but when I looked on the usual news sites there wasn’t anything mentioned.

My nearest place is 42 miles away, hey ho. No point hanging around for a more convenient location.

I'm 43 so was up and checking the site this morning before it was even on the news. Booked for Tuesday.

So far the nearest we've seen is an hour away (Cambridge) but we're refreshing the site to hopefully get something close , Norwich is 15min.

My first jab is local, second is fifteen miles away. I'm still amazed at the roll out pace tbh, having to drive for my second jab is hardly an issue.

41 here and I've just had the text.

I suppose the benefit of living in London is that I can see the hospital/vaccination point from outside my flat!
It let me choose that or one 2 miles away.

I wonder what their next move will be when people who have had the jabs die anyway in winter. I strongly suspect they wont be included in any covid figures. (even if they tested positive in 28 days)

Struggling to parse what you're saying there broccers.

You wonder what the folk in charge will do when people who have been vaccinated die of things that aren't COVID in the winter?

Fuck all, I'd imagine.

They've covid marshalls employed till Jan 22 - why? Whats coming next? I don't trust this lot at all. Wales for example still locked up - zero deaths yesterday and 33 cases. Its disgraceful. The what ifs and coulds are ruining peoples health and lives.

And that's why there's a clear staged process for coming out of lockdown, you must have seen it - it's been very well publicised.

I'm booked in for 2 weeks time - local centre popped up as available this morning. Couldn't get the 2nd there though, so I'm at Sportcity (the Etihad) for that. Weirdly there were 3 central Manchester centres for booking the 2nd jab but nothing for the 1st one.

I can't believe that there's no capacity at all across the whole of Greater Manchester - the only places showing were 45min drives in every direction (Darwen, St. Helens or Stoke).

Appointments seem to be loaded in batches, 2 people at work spent one morning trying to get local appointments and couldn't then at lunchtime there were loads.
