they dont need to dynamat the roof yet, they said several times that they're installing the bits to get it running first.

Fair point, just assumed after they went completely bananas on the floor and dash they'd do the roof at the same time.

They also said the strips below the roof marked the end of the sound-deadening efforts.

Not a bad episode. Shame we didn’t get a bit more of the bespoke HVAC ducting fabrication.

Enjoyed. Hopefully they'll live up the promise of a first start next ep. I do think they have to bring Binky to a conclusion after all these years but I guess that's tempered with a 'what next' scenario.

Not sure how anyone can be interested enough to watch previous videos of bracket making, then be 'over it' sufficiently that they don't want to see the final assembly

Trust me a lot of the brackets got fast forwarded

It seems like making things just for the sake of it, I really think a well engineered V-Tec mini fwd would be a far better car overall and more interesting with it. I think I was lost about 4 episodes back.

It was a long way from my favourite episode ever, but my interest in a 4wd Mini is massively higher than it would have been for a FWD V-Tec (yo) build.

Watched the couple covering the engine build, which I hadn't watched previously.

I do not know why I find this so addictive. I have a thesis to write and it is greatly sapping my productivity. I just hope the big reveal at the end is better than who H was.

But also, it's fabulously educational. Who knew there were so many bits on an engine? Even the bits have bits.

Rhetorical quesiton? Humans are constantly being undermined by the brain's desire for quick fix satisfaction when what you really need it to do is focus for the next forty hours or writing.

It'll be a fascinating comparison between Binky once it's finished and the Yaris GR. Toyota's WRC tech in of 1994 (lightly warmed) vs 2020.
