This got me thinking, whatever happened to A1 GP, the supposed F1 breakaway

A1 wasn’t a breakaway, more of a budget F1 with identical cars which folded after a few years. The F1 teams threatened a breakaway when renegotiating the Concorde contract with the FIA in 2008, but eventually Mosley left due to Nazi gate and Todt was much more accommodating.
