Both my partners parents have had AZ and only had the dead arm effect. Same with a women from work.

Seems a bit variable the response

I was just a bit achey after the first dose but everyone who has had a second dose said they felt grim after.

I think I posted earlier in the thread but you feel bad because your immune system is switching on. If it’s been exposed to something before (either a prior dose of vaccine or having had an infection before with the ‘Rona) it will be more vigorous. As you get older, your immune system slowly gets less vigorous, so older people tend to have fewer side effects. Likewise the immunosuppressed.

Curiously, a few of my colleagues who must be in the same BMI scale as me have had the jag, but I've not. 6ft and probably north of 20st (I've not weighed myself in a decade, I don't fucking know or care).

Me? Nowt.

I've had corona, so I guess if they give me any top up, I'd turn superhuman and they don't want that.

I mean, obviously.

You’re still young though and most are still using age as the most basic criteria.

Do the doctors even know you’re chunky? I’ve not been to a doctors in about 10 years, I’m not expecting a call up for a jab any time soon as there’s literally nothing on m medical history. They’d have no idea if I’d chucked on 15st in the last few years ( not that I have 😂 )

🤦‍♂️

Why ask jobbo for legal advise when you can cite the Magna Carta and put a notice in the window saying you reject these laws and opt out of them?

I love these articles - it’s like people think they have found the cheat codes for the legal system, I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be being a magistrate or a judge having to tell people that no, really, laws do apply to you.

Feeling achey and lethargic this morning. No fevers yet. Off to gulp down paracetamol.

Similar, yeah. I’ve definitely felt worse.

I've had my first jab this morning (AZ). It was done at a local-ish medical centre, all very efficient and quick. Didn't feel a thing either.

A guy doing our safety courses came back after a while off. Turns out his wife had it, pretty much shut her body down and now she is still in hospital and is permanently paralysed.

I’d never heard of that happening to anyone but he doesn’t strike me as anyone who would lie about it.

Dave!
