Already fitted, in fact I think they come with them as standard.

The colour is a bit in your face but I'm a child of the seventies when cars were available in colours other than black, grey or white :D

Although I am pleased it doesn't have the optional orange interior trim

Collected the 335d yesterday, just as the North East had a foot of snow!

The rear tyres were part their best but another set was chucked in, Bridgestone OEM run flats but I think I will just sell them and chuck on a set of Michelin P4S’s Costco offer on just now saving £100 so that makes a difference. Will flog the current tyres.

When I swapped from Continental to Michelin’s on the 911 the rears were a good 50mm wider, if the same applies here I might get into serious scrubbage issues and have to get smaller spacers 😂

Any recommendations for tyre foam and compressor pack for the car or are they all much of a muchness?

The car still feels very RWD and goes sideways on demand

Roll on torque is great, a lovely cruiser, LED headlights are tej awesome and the HK stereo seems noticeably better then the M140i versions.

Very happy with it, even the kids like it

Are the Michelin RFT? Costco refused point blank to fit non-RFT tyres to mine

This was a few years ago so they might have changed their policy now.

I started looking at them recently as a winter runabout after the mrs crapped her pants after one snowy drive in the merc, but they were out of my price range for a cheap spare runaround :D

Today's minor irritation with the Jag is the wipers. After the frost the other week the wiper stopped wiping a patch in front of the steering wheel. The blades were a bit shagged so I replaced them but the issue persisted.

I assumed the hinge was knackered so sprayed it with wd40 and gave it a wiggle. It's an odd design and doesn't come up off the screen very far so the wiggling was limited so repeated the process with an 8 year old as an unwilling volunteer to pull the stalk.

Viewing from outside, the wiper is fouling on the edge of the bonnet and the wiper and bonnet have both worn away. I suspect that the wiper needs readjustment. I think I have a puller somewhere so I'll try reseating it later.

It's never dull having a Jag!

It's minor but I find the wiper mounted washer jets never do as good a job as bonnet mounted ones anyway.

The 9-5 had 3 heated jets on the bonnet that worked brilliantly.

Anyway, it looks like the issue might be that the wiper arm is the passenger side one rather than the drivers side one.

Sundayjumper wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 10:48 am Dansk on mine too, ECP had a good deal on them at about the same time I needed some and my local branch had them in stuck so it was an easy choice.

IIRC Dansk were always the forum favourite until one day fashion changed and suddenly they were the worst thing EVAR.

<shrug>

I quite like them.
My C2 had Dansk fitted by one of the previous owners, not sure how old but the flexi pipes and some of the welding failed.

Fitted a new set of Dansk, all fine until after a track day at Bedford, when the noise got louder and louder. It turned out one of the back boxes had failed (the box blew up like a balloon, looked like metal used was substandard) I have photos somewhere..... Very annoying and bad timing as it was just before I decided to sell to fund the purchase of the GT3 (the right car came up for sale)

Anyway, fitted Top Gear exhausts, good quality but the sound wasn’t as good; the sound didn’t any ‘character’.

Although I must have watched virtually every Panda 4x4 video on youtube over the past week I'd missed that one. From my limited research green seems to be the most popular colour along with white.

65 series tyres and longish suspension travel give a very compliant ride. I haven't attacked any corners yet though :)
