The F-duct name

Post by Jimmy Choo »

Remember the F-duct in F1? It was first seen on the MP4-25 in 2010.By covering a hole in the cockpit it stalled the rear wing and increased top speed and was the thing that brought in the DRS system. Last night I discovered that it got it's name from the inlet duct on the McLaren's location in the "f" in Vodafone. This seems like something I should have known.

TIL as the kids say.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
